Information events

Information events are held regularly across the East of England. 

At an information event you will meet experienced foster carers who will talk about what it's like to become a foster family. Staff and social workers from your local authority will tell you about the application and approval process and answer questions you may have. It's also an opportunity to meet other people also considering becoming foster parents. You will be given an information pack to take away and read through as you consider your next steps. 

Come to a pop-up or information event

Our pop-up and information events are held throughout the year. 

Simply pop along to a pop-up event for a friendly chat with one of our team. You'll meet a friendly team member and can have a conversation about fostering and pick up a leaflet. Pop-up events are held all over the region, in supermarkets, at shows, at carnivals. There's no need to book your space. 

Information events are held slightly less frequently. Use our event search to find and book your place at an information event.
