There are 7,000 children in care in the East of England. More than 150 children come into care every month. We need your help. Could you be a foster parent with your council?
Why foster with us
More than 1,700 children come into the care of local authorities in the East of England every year. Each child's circumstances are different. Some need short-term care, perhaps due to a family emergency. Others need a home for longer. Loving, caring foster families are needed to give children a safe, nurturing home in difficult times. Foster carers are an essential part of our team, helping to give safe homes to the 30 children that come into care every week in our region. Now, 11 local authorities across the East of England have joined forces as Foster East to urgently find more safe, loving foster homes. Choosing to foster with your local council keeps children in their community, and close to the important people in their lives.
